Yesterday, my family went to the tax tea party at the Georgia state capitol. It was a lot of fun and jam packed with 10-15,000 people. Sean Hannity was there doing his TV show as well as Joe the Plumber and John Rich (who sang Shuttin' Detroit Down). We even got a picture with Joe the Plumber!!
For alot of people this was a protest about taxes. But we decided to go for a different reason. We went to the tea party to take a stand against the growing government. To show that we don't want the government to tell us what to do, to take care of our health, or to spread our wealth around. Even though we were only six people without any signs, we were a small part of a big movement to stand up for what's right.
