Freelance Dancer

From Sugarplum Fairy with Sawnee Ballet Theatre to Swanhilda for Ballet Southeast to the Evil Stepmother in Cinderella for Atlanta Ballet Fellowship Ensemble or a flirtatious gypsy in La Traviata with the Atlanta Opera, the stage is one of my happy places. I have strong artistry and versatile technique to portray a wide range of roles and can provide a partner for pas de deux work if needed. I’d love to dance with you!

Guest teaching

In passing the arts to the next generation we should instill a sense of dignity, humble confidence, and discipline equipping them to be successful in whatever field they pursue. I love teaching ballet, contemporary, or conditioning (I am certified in Progressing Ballet Technique) to dancers ages 8+. I’m based in Atlanta but love to travel and meet new students. How can I serve your school?

Choreography

Choreographically, I want to tell redemptive stories with excellence whether that be an arena of 20,000 for a conference opener, a music video, an original fairytale story ballet, or a special commission. I can work with your dancers (I love to work with students) or provide my own through Bluebird Uncaged. Let me know how I can to help bring your idea to fruition.

Speaking/Writing

These life adventure stories we are given are meant to be shared. With a BA in Communications from Thomas Edison State University and having taken courses through the Passion Global Institute and other apologetic/evangelism trainings, I enjoy sharing encouragement to point people to Jesus. Whether that be in person or through writing a devotional/curriculum/article I’d be honored to share on topics such as identity, hope, stewarding your passion/calling, or practical tools to share the gospel with your group.

Sterling’s Path

This annual stage production fuses dance, multimedia, and spoken word to convey a fairytale of hope the whole family will enjoy. Check out Bluebird Uncaged for 2021 performance dates.

White Umbrella

White Umbrella uses the art of dance to follow the plight of a woman trapped in the bondage of sex-trafficking as she sets out on a journey to freedom.

Miscellaneous

–organized/led four trips to Panama, Central America with Bluebird Uncaged where we collaborated with the local dance community and served other organizations through dance outreach.

–Curated the Uncaged Community Dance Festival in which several Atlanta area companies converged for a week of performances and collaboration.

–made various public appearances representing Atlanta Ballet including meet and greets with patrons and teaching livestream classes.

— I’ve been a guest teacher at numerous summer intensives around the US. I taught the DanceAbility program at Georgia Ballet which provides dance classes for children of different abilities and I also teach ESL online.

— I was a family group leader for a youth ministry for 7 years and I love investing in high school age girls.

— Sometimes I do background work for film as the industry is growing here in ATL. I’m comfortable on camera and open to expanding my screen acting skills.
