You know those times when you just have to get something clean and organized? Well, we had that instance a few weeks ago. We decided that it was time to clean, organize, and redo the sewing room.
This is what it looked like before.
Yep, it was pretty bad. There were scraps on the floor, spools of thread rolling around, and junk everywhere. We could never find what we wanted easily, there were projects everywhere. And this was all because we didn't put away what we had gotten out. It was frustrating and we wanted to make things but we didn't want to battle the mess.
So, we set to deep cleaning. We took everything out, repainted, organized, and moved everything back in. And walla….
…a nice clean sewing room.
Of course, it wasn't that easy. We had to work on it a lot (and it's still not totally done). But now, we will enjoy sewing and making things so much more in our clean room. We'll get things done faster and we'll try to put away what we got out :-).
It kind of reminds me of what God did for us.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! ~2 Corinthians 5:17
Wow! What a change! Looks great, maybe I will be motivated to redo my sewing room!
Isn’t it great how something so ordinary can remind us of God’s extrordinary plan for us. I love see God in our everyday life.
