Blooms- an almost wordless wednesday
The flowers have already appeared in the land; the time has arrived for pruning the vines, and the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land. The fig tree has ripened its figs, and the vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance. Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come along. ~Song of Solomon 2:12-13
Videos from Telluride!!

Clarification: I was not ready to answer the question 'how many hours a week do you dance?' and I underestimated my answer. I dance about 20 hours a week actually. Also, the performance shots are not me but the girl from 2007.
This really is me
It’s my blog-versary!!!
1 year-58 posts
It's hard to believe it's been a whole year since I introduced myself to the world of the internet. Through the year, I've met new people, started an online shop, and made kept up with a creative outlet through my blog. I've enjoyed blogging this past year and I plan to stay with it for as long as I possibly can.
Spring
It's beginning to get warmer, buds are poking out, the days are getting longer. Spring is a season of beginnings and ends. The school year comes to an end like the deadness of winter; new experiences and stages of life are beginning like the sprouts in the ground. Sometimes, I think these sprouts and flowers do a better job of declaring God's greatness than I do. They make me feel like I'm not doing my job and remind me that I should be doing the same. It's these little things that make me appreciate God more. How He orders His creation so that it all brings glory to Him. How He also uses His creation to remind other parts of His creation of Himself. I thank Him for that and I pray that He uses me to bring Himself glory.
To the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time, and now, and forever. Amen. ~Jude 1:25
Spring Concert recap
Last week was Spring Concert. We did a condensed and revised version of Swan Lake and called it Swan Princess as well as some Broadway pieces (I was in One and Audition from A Chorus Line). For Swan Lake, I was in the Pas de Trois (I did the last girl's variation) and I was a little swan. Here are some pics from my camera. I'm hoping to get some better ones soon.
On another note, I got my driver's license on Thursday! Now, I really should go study for my midterms.
Red Envelope Day
On March 31 red envelopes will flood into the White House. This is in an effort to silently protest against abortion. The goal is to send 50million red envelopes to the White House, one for each child (in the US) who has died before getting a chance to live. I was introduced to the Red Envelope Project through Handmade for Life, a group of pro-life artisans on etsy. If you would like to participate in the Red Envelope Project, send an empty red envelope to:
President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W.
Washington , D.C. 20500
and write on the outside what is on the above envelope. Maybe God will use this to change the heart of the president.
For you formed my inward parts; you wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are your works, and my sould knows it very well.
~Psalm 139:13-14
